In 2008, Hypnia stumbled upon a major problem: buying a mattress wasn’t easy. Between a confusing vocabulary, insistent salesmen in-store, and out-of-reach prices, they saw the opportunity to change an archaic industry. That’s where Hypnia was born: from a statement, from a will to change the bedding industry to make the purchase of a mattress easy and accessible.

With their strong ambition to be the first brand of inbox mattresses in the Netherlands, they started to look out for a partner in the Netherlands and stumbled upon the advertising consultants of The Next Ad. “To adapt and scale in the Dutch market and achieve maximum visibility, we needed a local agency that could advise us on the market and its requirements.
