The new generation is Boundless and Borderless

Grenzelooswerk (translated into Borderless Work) was founded in 2015 by two student entrepreneurs based on their own insights and needs. Founders Casper and Rémon believe that everyone should have had the opportunity to work abroad at least once in their lifetime. But how do I get good Dutch employees as an employer and how do I, as a job seeker, find a reliable company abroad? At that time there was no independent place on the internet with these questions. That’s where the platform of Grenzelooswerk was born. 

After a flashy start, and a first investment round, Grenzelooswerk grew to become the market leader for working abroad. With a team of professionals, they have already helped more than 2,500 people in finding their dream job abroad. What sets them apart from the rest? People with unbridled energy and passion to cross borders. The new generation is boundless and borderless. Grenzelooswerk has been rewarded for their work in helping others find their dream jobs and received the award for winner of the Friese Startup of the Year.

The young and ambitious entrepreneurs of Grenzelooswerk were just getting started in the Netherlands when their excitement to go abroad with their own business started. That’s where the original Dutch company also decided to take their road to the German market with Grenzenlosarbeiten.

Whereas their platform had already become well known in the Netherlands with Grenzelooswerk, it was a tough challenge for Grenzenlosarbeiten to stamp their authority in this completely new market as well. 

Whilst their challenge was to create and increase brand awareness, especially in Germany, the objective in terms of running Facebook advertising campaigns was generating as many registrations as possible. 
 

Their Solution

More than ‘just’ Advertising

Grenzelooswerk reached out to The Next Ad to help them grow and scale their business. They were looking for a solution which could help them reduce time to waste so that they would be able to completely focus on growing their customer base. In The Next Ad’s Managed Services they found that perfect solution for their needs. 

The Managed Services team started running campaigns and A/B tested continuously in order to find the best working structure for Grenzelooswerk. The team ran A/B tests on campaign settings such as trying out different campaign goals in combination with different custom optimisation settings such as CTR. 
They tested with campaign structure and splitting up ad sets using the A/B test creator to be able to optimise their specific target group of young professionals. Finally, the automatic rotation of Ad Fatigue Optimiser was there to optimise on all different ad creatives in order to find the best-performing ones. 

With The Next Ad it’s possible to use Dynamic Ads for all campaign goals, which turned out to be the perfect solution for Grenzelooswerk. After some testing, the best campaign structure turned out to be a Conversion campaign using Dynamic Ads. Thanks to all these insights, The Next Ad came up with some constructive feedback in order to strengthen the Ad Creatives and help grow their advertising scope. Recently,  following the advice of The Next Ad, Grenzelooswerk opened up a new Instagram account in order to increase their presence on social media. They also briefed their creatives team on creating a completely new set of creatives based on feedback. They added Google to their digital marketing strategy with Display and Search and also trusted the team of Managed Services to run their Google campaigns in order to create brand awareness in Germany. Finally, their international growth is just getting started. Grenzelooswerk is highly ambitious and has great plans in scaling their business even more, especially after witnessing the growth and impact registered in their newly entered market: Germany. 
 

Their Success

After just 3 months of working together, Grenzelooswerk managed to increase its media budget by 183% thanks to the successes of the campaigns running in the Netherlands and Germany as well as decreasing their Cost per 1000 People Reached by over 40%.

They also succeeded in conducting cross-border business by entering a new country's market: Germany. Other achievements included increasing the number of registrations on the website as well as successfully launching their Instagram and Google Display & Search campaigns.
